Our Story
The origin of Rise&Shine Cribs is family.

Drew and his wife, CJ, were each raised in supportive families with loving parents who provided them a strong foundation to grow into their fullest selves.

The company name itself is a nod to Drew's mom, who would wake him up as a little boy by opening his window shades to let the morning light into his room and complement this action with the beautiful expression:
"It's time to rise and shine!"

After becoming parents themselves, Drew and CJ came to understand that providing a child a strong foundation is much easier when you have the right equipment. CJ and Drew had a "classic crib" with their first baby, and--over time--they grew weary of its inconveniences. While parents have options in so many other baby product areas, the baby crib market has very little differentiation.
Drew used a standing desk at work every day, and he became curious if the evolution from sit-down cubicles to modern standing desks that he witnessed in corporate workplaces was something that could occur within the crib industry. As a result, he sought out how to similarly elevate the crib mattress. This led Drew to the patented* crib door that differentiates the R&S crib from the rest, marked by an innovative double-latch door system that enables a safe, raised crib.
